Product description:
Manufacturer: Williams Electronic Games
Year of Release: 1987
Designer: Mark Ritchie
About the Game:
“Defend the Queen!” Prepare for an all-out medieval space-siege with Big Guns, a colossal and highly unique 1987 release by Williams. Also designed by Mark Ritchie, this machine completely breaks all the traditional rules of pinball design. The very first thing you will notice is its imposing, oversized custom backbox that towers above standard pinball machines, making it an incredible visual centerpiece. Furthermore, this aggressive, action-packed playfield features absolutely no pop-bumpers! Instead, the layout focuses entirely on precision shooting, massive drop target banks, and physically launching the ball through the air with catapults. A restored Big Guns is a breathtaking, highly unique conversation starter for any classic arcade lineup.

Game Features:
The Catapult Cannons: The defining physical feature! Two massive, hidden catapult mechanisms that literally launch the pinball completely through the air over the playfield, loading it straight into the towering backbox wireforms!
The Backbox Bagatelle: An incredible vertical mini-game housed inside the massive backglass. When the ball is launched up by the catapults, it bounces down through a physical maze of pegs (like a Pachinko machine) to score massive points or trigger multiball.
Invincibility Shield: A heavy-duty central captive-ball mechanism that challenges you to batter the gates and breach the castle defenses with pinpoint accuracy to rescue the Queen.
Oversized Cabinet Design: Features an exceptionally tall, custom-built backbox layout that immediately commands attention and stands out in any game room.
