Product description:
Manufacturer: Sega Pinball
Year of Release: 1997
Designers: Joe Balcer / Joe Kaminkow
About the Game:
“The only good bug is a dead bug!” Enlist in the Mobile Infantry and save Earth with *Starship Troopers*, a blisteringly fast 1997 pinball machine by Sega. Based on Paul Verhoeven’s cult-classic sci-fi satire, this game completely immerses you in the intergalactic war against the Arachnids on Planet P. Known among enthusiasts for its highly unorthodox flipper layout and incredibly high-speed ramp flow, this machine demands quick reflexes and tactical precision. Dripping with the movie’s signature dark humor and explosive action, a restored Starship Troopers is a phenomenal addition for both sci-fi fans and retro arcade collectors.

Game Features:
The Moving Brain Bug: A massive, custom-sculpted Brain Bug toy sitting in the center of the playfield that physically emerges and animates. You must shoot the ball directly into it to capture the bug and save the galaxy!
Unique “Live Fire” Micro-Flipper: A totally unique mechanical design choice! The game features a tiny, secondary flipper located right next to the standard left flipper, offering new ball-control mechanics and tight trick shots.
Moving Warrior Bug Target: Track and hit a motorized, physical Arachnid target that rapidly moves horizontally across the playfield to simulate an attacking swarm.
Original Movie Audio: Features intense, pulse-pounding sound effects and aggressive, custom voice callouts from the actual film cast.
